CONTROVERSY
Imagine being transported back to a time when bellbottoms, afros, yuppies, electric boogaloo, platforms and carefree dancing were the rave. A time when there were no rules – when people put on their boogie shoes, teased hair and danced to the sound of the underground chanting to Debbie Gibson’s “Electric Youth”.… Controversy – the only authentic live show reproduction of two classic decades.
What separates Controversy is their ability to triumphantly perform the Number 1 showstoppers that others dare not touch; leaving audiences overwhelmed beyond fantasy. A relatively new band on the scene, Controversy formed in 2006 with some of the most talented musicians in the Australian industry earning their reputation as both session musicians and leaders in Australian tribute shows. They have quickly made a spectacular impression in both the Melbourne live scene and corporate events playing regularly at Chaise nightclub and functions for ANZ bank, Westpac bank and Holden to name a few. Controversy’s clientele list is vast and growing rapidly successfully providing contracted work in 2007 for companies such as Telstra, Flight Centre, Spring racing carnival fashion parades and Quiksilver.

RETROSEXUAL
RETROSEXUAL is a hot concept band playing all the greatest Retro hits from the 70's and 80's. RETROSEXUAL perform their show in vintage Retro costumes along with Retro wigs and sunglasses - because they know that to play cool, they have to feel cool! (Besides, its not whether you win or lose - its if you look good doing it!) RETROSEXUAL are for all people of Retrosexual orientation - and those that just want to try it out! They are constantly striving to service the Retrosexual community better! RETROSEXUAL were introduced to music as kids through the funk and grooves of the 70's hits on radio and 'Countdown.' And they fondly remember all those wonderfully cheesy 80's songs that they danced to at all those Blue Light Discos, and watching Donny Osmond present T.V. show 'Sounds' each week.

Described as the definitive tribute to Billy Joel, Australia's own Maurice Lepore holds the floor in a live show that squeezes the most out of this performers striking physical and musical similarities to the great Billy Joel himself.
