FAULTY TOWERS THE DINING EXPERIENCE
Enter the world of the snobbish, manic Basil; his domineering wife Sybil; and the hopeless language-challenged waiter Manuel. Be one of the steady stream of bemused guests trying to make Manuel understand what it is you want. Innocently ask for an ‘ice bucket’ and you’ll probably end up with a ‘nice bucket’; a simple procedure like opening a bottle of wine can become a huge drama; and maybe, just maybe, in the middle of all these events, you might get some service – Faulty style of course. Everything that can go wrong will - in fact this can best be described as organised chaos!!
‘Faulty Towers the Dining Experience’ debuted in Brisbane on April 24 1997. Since then, thousands of people have enjoyed the fun! abuse!! and service!! of Basil, Sybil and Manuel in public shows, private conference dinners and functions throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The team is performing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

THE AUSTRALIAN RAT PACK
It is a charismatic celebration of an era where entertainment revolved around big stars, big bands, big shows and big laughs.
The original Rat Pack, led by the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, also featured fellow stars Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jnr, Joey Bishop, Shirley Maclaine, Peter Lawford and fringe members Jerry Lewis and Wayne Newton with latecomer Liza Minelli joining Sinatra and Davis Jr on the world tour of the "Main Event".
The unique aura that surrounded this clan has never been surpassed. The Australian Rat Pack featuring BOB VALENTINE, MARTY FIELDS and Ms NINA FERRO salutes these stars and their era.

THE PETER SULLIVAN BAND
has performed with many of Australia's star performers including John Farnham, Anthony Warlow, Marina Pryor, Barry Humphries, Rob Guest, Hugh Jackman, Tom Burlinson, Tina Arena, Rhonda Burchmore Ross Wilson and performed with international acts including Barbara Morrisson, Wayne Newton, Jose Feliciano, Gene Pitney, Thelma Houston and recently the band performed with Jerry Lewis during both his 1998 and 1999 Australian concerts.
The band has featured on Channel 9's variety show "In Melbourne Tonight" weekly in 1997 and 1998 and is a regular guest on "The Footy Show" and features every year on The Grand Final Footy Show.
Sully Music employs the top musicians and is usually fronted by Beven Adinsall, Greg Hind, Matt Hetherington, Nikki Nicholls, Wendy Stapelton, Janine Maunder Nena Ferro or Annette Roche. The line up of the band depends on the event but usually 10 - 16 piece with two or three singers. The music played is everything from Glen Miller to the danceable songs today. Whatever your function you are guaranteed of a night to remember. The band swings …it rocks… and it rolls….

MARTY COFFEY
Marty’s act is a clever combination of spectacular juggling, fire eating and death defying feats, all wrapped up with non-stop humour. Among his routines is the uproarious apple, bowling ball and egg juggle where he eats the apple during the stunt.
There is the “dangerous objects juggle” atop a two metre unicycle where Marty enlists the help of the audience in getting started. And of course he likes to finish on his now famous chainsaw juggle (sans kittens for the stage act!). With or without cats his deftness for combining hilarious patter, visual surprise gags and tension building stunts always keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Marty Coffey certainly has a sensational approach to comedy basing it around juggling; or a sensational approach to juggling basing it around comedy.
Whichever way you look at it Marty Coffey has a sensational comedy act.

THE GREAT GIZMO
The Great Gizmo This is no regular 'Corporate Clown'! A unique character with a particular magic of his own, able to coax innocent people into partaking in feats of silliness or danger, never experienced before. Such feats as the amazing 'ride of fear', where a dare devil sits upon The Great Gizmo's shoulders while he rides his unicycle. The only steering being the curls on his distinguished moustache. He can balance on his chin anything from a feather to a bicycle. To see 10 chairs balanced upon a chin, you need to see The Great Gizmo! Keep your shoes and other possessions protected, as they are likely to be juggled before your very eyes. Anything is possible when The Great Gizmo! is around. |
