TONY LEONARD

Tony came into radio via community station 3RRR with the Coodabeen Champions, a one hour talk program that took a light-hearted look at Australian Rules from the point of view of the spectator.

The program commenced in 1981 and Tony joined in 1982 when the code was known as the VFA. He stayed with the program (and the station changes, 3LO/3AW) until 2002.

In 1996, Tony commenced calling the AFL (with David Hookes) and now is the co-match day caller on Sundays with Rex Hunt. Tony also fills-in for the Breakfast team and reviews pubs for Neil Mitchell on Fridays.

IAN COVER

Ian Cover's work with the 'Coodabeen Champions' has been a major part of a varied career in the media and entertainment industries. Ian started his working life as a cadet journalist with the Geelong Advertiser before moving to the Herald and Weekly Times. He has written for all Melbourne's daily and weekend papers as well as writing columns for sports magazines.

Ian Cover is in demand as a master of ceremonies and speaker at lunches, dinners, sports nights, corporate events and charity functions.

DARREN JAMES

During Buy, Swap and Sell hosted by Darren James, 3AW becomes a trading post, trash and treasure market, bulletin board and garage sale, all rolled into one. If there are any items at all to be bought, sold or swapped it's on Darren's popular morning show.

Darren says his most unusual item for sale was Monty the 10-foot python and a couple about to get married who were looking to buy a black and white cow needed for their wedding ceremony.

Along with co-host Jane Edmanson, Darren also provides questions and answers about gardening topics that range from plant selection, water saving and pests and diseases on Jane and Darren's Big Backyard. He hosts Streetwise, The Big House and the always fiery Sunday Morning program as well.

Buy Swap and Sell can be found on the 3AW.com.au home page every Saturday and Sunday.
