CHRIS BENNETT
Chris Bennett has been performing as a stand up comedian ever since he discovered his family was a captive audience.
Formerly working in the building trade his boss once told him that he was a class clown who would never grow up and that he was a distraction to everyone. After contemplating this, Chris thought, he had better do something about it and became a stand up comedian. He also realised that his boss was wrong to say those things and he didn't know anything about business anyway, he hasn't seen Mr Grollo since.
Professionally, Chris began working as a stand up comedian in 1993 and has performed all over Australia. He has entertained the widest variety of crowds from A.F.L football club functions to high profile corporate events. His television credits include several performances on live national television shows such as 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' and 'In Melbourne Tonight'. Recently Chris leaped into the commercial radio station Gold FM. He wrote for the breakfast show as well as performing on air segments. He also co-hosted a Saturday morning comedy show on Gold FM. Not only is he a seasoned performer going from strength to strength he is also very funny.
