STEVE BURROWS

After several amateur productions which included three years with "The Melbourne Gang Show". Steve pursued a career in rock bands, first as lead singer in "Release" then "Tokyo" and then as keyboardist/vocalist in 'U.J.A.K.' and "King Hit" with Maria Mercedes. In 1983 Steve entered the piano bar circuit and worked extensively throughout Australia over the next 12 years. This included many contracts on Hamilton Island, Cairns, Port Douglas, Mt Buller etc. In 1986 Steve appeared in "Star Search", winning 5 episodes as male vocalist and reaching the semi-finals. In the 1990s Steve entered the field of TV and film working mainly as an extra, but also small parts for current affair shows and training videos. 1995 brought a change of direction for Steve, returning to his first love, 'live theatre' - these have been mainly amateur productions*. He has played for the Who's Who of Australia (private parties for Kerry Packer, Lloyd Williams, Alan Bond, Billy Joel, Elton John and even the late Pope John Paul 2).  Marty's charm and talent wins over any crowd and he continues to be in great demand around Australia.


BOOSIE

uses his experience in commercial radio and of having toured the pubs across most of coastal Australia as a solo entertainer, to select one of the most audience friendly repertoires anywhere in the country. Playing nothing but classic hits, from artists like Eric Clapton, Van Morrisson, Pink Floyd, Neil Diamond, and Joe Cocker, Boosie works the 25+ year old (some younger, some older!) crowds to perfection! The format is loosely based around that of Melbourne's GOLD 104.3 FM. In a nutshell, you can sing along to every song. As well as being an accomplished Vocalist / Guitarist, Boosie has also worked as a high profile announcer at numerous radio stations across Australia, and is often seen making an appearance in various Australian Television and Film productions, as well as on stage or on tour with his stand-up comedy.
