They have explored many musical roads together and have discovered a sound and feel that has been described as "Duke Ellington meets Muddy Waters" and even "Muddy meets Jimi". The spirit of John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters is there, along with Coltrane on the bass drum and Al Jackson on the hi hat! If that makes sense, you must already have the album!

PAPER HEARTS is the musical (and real life) marriage of Amelia & Ryan Enright, who met through friends in 2011 and fell madly in love.

With both musicians also playing their own instruments (acoustic guitar & cajon box drum), the duo sound covers everything from stunning stripped back acoustic renditions and chilled out dinner sets, to dance floor pumping, roof raising hits.

In recent years, the WAAPA graduate had a chart topping iTunes single and was a grand finalist in the nationwide 2018 Toyota Star Maker Competition. In addition, Emily won the 2017 WA CMA Award for ‘Emerging Artist of the Year’, performs annually at the Tamworth Music Festival and graces stages regularly in Nashville, Tennessee such as the iconic ‘Bluebird Café’.
 

Emily grew up with a multitude of influences and has a catalogue that caters to all. It is this foundation that allows her to seamlessly cross over a range of genres and build an extensive set list. Her wide range of repertoire combined with her ability to confidently read the room, allows her to tailor her set to suit each audience and ensures there is ‘something for everyone’. From pop to rock, country to blues, classics to contemporaries, and everything in-between, there’s no style or era she doesn’t touch upon.

Recently relocating back to Perth after being Melbourne based for the last 10 years, Josh Johnstone is an international touring musician and singer/songwriter.

In 2018 Josh released his second album ‘II’ which features tracks that you may have heard on Triple J, 96FM, RTR FM, Red FM, WA FM, Nova and countless other radio networks.

In Australia Josh has performed (either solo or with his various bands) at such Festivals as Big Day Out, Australia Survival Day Concert, Broome to Bicton, Rock the Bay Festival (VIC) and St Kilda Festival (VIC). He has also played as support act for the likes of Gotye, The Waifs, John Butler Trio, The Beards, Little Red, Filter, Eskimo Joe, Shihad, Gyroscope and many more…
