Brian’s Music Quiz
Combining inspiration gained from fifteen years as a co-host of RocKwiz, a life time of being a passionate music fan and thirty years’ experience as one of Australia’s most enduring and popular comedians, ‘Brian Nankervis' Music Quiz' is a sure fire corporate hit! For all demographics, all ages.
As a standalone act, or in tandem with his wider role as MC, Brian quickly divides the room into two teams … usually women v men, but this can vary according to the client’s wishes … and for the next ten, twenty or forty minutes, the two teams battle it out, identifying well known songs using prerecorded music cues and answering music related questions. There’s individual and group singing, dancing, karaoke and comedy. Everyone is involved!
Brian has done his music quiz at a diverse range of events all over Australia, in board rooms and ballrooms, small theatres and cavernous auditoriums. At award nights, conferences and gala dinners. In schools, factories, outdoor events and, for the last few years, with a notoriously tough crowd at the TV Week Logie Awards!*
The setup is beautifully simple … one microphone and music playback through the PA.
Brian’s Music Quiz … a must for your next event.
* A text from Eddie McGuire following the 2016 Logies warm up …
“Brian, just a quick note to say I thought you did the most magnificent job at The Logies. Everyone wanted to keep playing music trivia!!! Gary Sweet doing Mick Jagger to ‘Satisfaction'! Seriously, all through the night you were fantastic.
Best wishes, Eddie."
