THE DIVINE SISTERS

Established in 2010 by one of Australia’s established Musical Theatre Actresses, Kellie Rode and Producer Steve Jeffares for Hartington Production, The Divine Sisters are a premium entertainment acts inspired by the 1940’s wartime trios.

During World War II, acts like the Andrews Sisters entertained the U.S. and Allied forces in war zones overseas. Their trademark close harmony singing style is an arrangement of the notes within a narrow range to create a fantastic and unique sound. Barbershop Quartets and a Capella music groups commonly use harmony. Other popular groups known for their technique include the Bosswell Sisters, the Everley Brothers and the Chordettes.

The featured roles of the Divine Sisters – Gloria, Daphna and Mary – are performed by a rotating cast of Australia’s established and up and coming musical Theatre stars. Popular songs performed include Stuff Like That There, P.S. I Love You, In The Mood, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Mr. Sandman and Billy-A-Dick.

While Melbourne based, The Divine Sisters are available for all corporate events and functions around Australia and internationally. Book them for your next functions now!
