MATT PRESTON

Matt Preston is a food journalist and restaurant critic. Best known for his restaurant column in The Age newspaper’s food section, "Epicure", and as a judge on MasterChef Australia, Preston is also a writer for Vogue Entertaining + Travel and delicious magazines, and a former Creative Director of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival .

Preston was educated at St Phillips Preparatory School in London and Worth Abbey in Sussex and graduated from the University of Kent with a BA Hons in Politics and Government. He began his career in the sales and marketing departments of British magazines, including City Limits where he wrote the "Backhanders" column for five years. He then spent four years with UK magazines, TVTimes and What’s on TV, becoming head of their promotions and marketing department. In 1993, Preston moved to Australia where he worked as an Australian soap opera correspondent for British magazines What’s On TV, TVTimes and Women’s Own.

Preston is a regular food correspondent on a number of publications, including Epicure, a supplement in The Age, Vogue Entertaining & Travel (Senior Editor), Delicious (Senior Editor), Australian Good Taste as the drink reviewer, The Guardian newspaper (UK) and Time Out (London). Preston has a weekly contributor to Epicure since 2000. In this role, he writes a weekly review of a cafe or restaurant. He also writes a weekly column in The Age's A2. Preston is a contributor to The Age Good Food Guide and Food and Wine (US).

DAVID KOCH

David Koch (affectionately known by the Australian public as “Kochie”), is the co-host of Channel Seven’s morning show ‘Sunrise’. He is also the host of ‘Kochie’s Business Builders’ which is owned and produced by his own company Pinstripe Media. David is one of Australia’s foremost business and finance commentators. His finance columns include writing for New Idea magazine, The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, Adelaide Advertiser and the Hobart Mercury.

As a former business owner, operator and company director, David is in demand as a presenter and regularly addresses a wide range of corporate events and groups. His specialty is speaking on success in small business and investment issues as well as providing practical tips. David speaks informatively from a base of personal experience and in depth knowledge of business and financial issues.

A survey conducted by ‘Money Management’ newspaper recognised David as one of the 10 most influential people in establishing the retail financial services industry. A Reader’s Digest survey found he is also one of the top 25 ‘Most Trusted People in Australia’. David has published numerous bestselling books on finance as well as his hugely successful ‘Kochie’s Best Jokes’ books. He was named Father of the Year in 2007. Combining his passion for AFL and business credentials, David was appointed Chairman of the Port Adelaide Football Club in 2012 and has since dramatically transformed their membership base, profitability and ability to get points on the board.

SHANE BOURNE

Shane Bourne is one of Australia’s most versatile and best-loved comedians. In recent years, he has become one of the most sought after performers on the corporate function circuit. Shane Bourne has had vast experience, is highly professional, and has a commanding stage presence that makes him a great asset to any function. Shane Bourne’s ability to read an audience combined with his understanding of client requirements guarantees success when he appears as a guest speaker or presides over an event as Master of Ceremonies. 

Shane Bourne is an instantly recognisable face to audiences nationwide through his comedy work, and he has an impressive list of television and stage appearances to his credit. He is the consummate performer with wit and comedic timing that are the envy of his peers. But he can also fill dramatic roles with considerable ease, creating complex characters such as Happy Henderson in the acclaimed ABC series, 'MDA: Medical Defence Australia'. 

He is fondly remembered for his years on the enduring 'Hey Hey It’s Saturday' show on Channel 9. His inclusion of original gag filled comedy songs had the audience in stitches every time. 

Shane Bourne's current work includes hosting the enormously popular 'Thank God You're Here' show, produced by Working Dog for the Ten Network. Shane Bourne is a versatile performer with consummate skills and is held in extremely high regard by colleagues, clients, and comedy-lovers nationwide. He is a class act.

GEORGE KAPINIARIS

George Kapiniaris has made an incredible impact on popular culture in Australia over the last twenty years.

He is also one of a small handful of Australian comedians who has appeared on all media including Film, TV, Theatre, Musicals, Bands & Radio.

George's claim to fame was his starring role in the hugely popular 'Wogs Out Of Work' stage show with Nick Giannopoulos. Since then the Australian public has continued to see him use his ethnic heritage as inspiration for future roles and performances.
  
George developed his popular style of ethnic comedy at Rusden College and with fellow student Simon Palomares formed 'The Tiboldi Brothers', a stand-up comedy duo, which still tours the comedy circuit today.
  
George Kapiniaris has been producer and creator of many productions including 'Acropolis now', 'The Last Proxy', 'The Flares', 'From George with Love'' and the extremely successful 'Il Dago'- his production skills make him a comedian who is absolutely corporate friendly.

TONY LEONARD

Tony came into radio via community station 3RRR with the Coodabeen Champions, a one hour talk program that took a light-hearted look at Australian Rules from the point of view of the spectator.

The program commenced in 1981 and Tony joined in 1982 when the code was known as the VFA. He stayed with the program (and the station changes, 3LO/3AW) until 2002.

In 1996, Tony commenced calling the AFL (with David Hookes) and now is the co-match day caller on Sundays with Rex Hunt. Tony also fills-in for the Breakfast team and reviews pubs for Neil Mitchell on Fridays.

IAN COVER

Ian Cover's work with the 'Coodabeen Champions' has been a major part of a varied career in the media and entertainment industries. Ian started his working life as a cadet journalist with the Geelong Advertiser before moving to the Herald and Weekly Times. He has written for all Melbourne's daily and weekend papers as well as writing columns for sports magazines. 

Ian Cover is in demand as a master of ceremonies and speaker at lunches, dinners, sports nights, corporate events and charity functions.

DARREN JAMES

During Buy, Swap and Sell hosted by Darren James, 3AW becomes a trading post, trash and treasure market, bulletin board and garage sale, all rolled into one. If there are any items at all to be bought, sold or swapped it's on Darren's popular morning show.

Darren says his most unusual item for sale was Monty the 10-foot python and a couple about to get married who were looking to buy a black and white cow needed for their wedding ceremony.

Along with co-host Jane Edmanson, Darren also provides questions and answers about gardening topics that range from plant selection, water saving and pests and diseases on Jane and Darren's Big Backyard. He hosts Streetwise, The Big House and the always fiery Sunday Morning program as well.
